Condor 1/72 MiG-21UM

I’ve done some plastic kits for a while, I’m just a beginner modeler (had no airbrush, little paint stock, etc
…). This is the last (at this time) model I built, Condor 1/72 MiG-21UM, it not finished yet (only landing gears assembly remaining).
Above pics : The Condor 1/72 MiG-21UM minus landing gears, along with Trumpeter 1/72 IL-28 and Academy 1/144 B-58
I bought it from local hobby store in Jakarta for about USD $7 along with another Condor 1/72 MiG-21SMT (same price). The panel lines already recessed, but it’s to thin, and will disappear under 1~2 coat of paints. Fit are bad, especially at fuselage half, I had to cut the alignment pins and align it manually. Putty are required at the bottom of vertical tail and main wing roots. Detail are basic, cockpit are bad, only ‘unfit’ instrument panels with decals provided plus seat and control yoke. Armaments are fuzzy … had to replace them from another kit. The canopy are fragile, mine cracked and broken (actually I discovered 2 other kits from Condor have broken clear part at the store). The decal was unusable; it will crack soon as enter the water. I painted it with automotive paint spray can, cheapo
(actually because I don’t have airbrush), accenting the panel lines using 2B pencil.Well … there a lot problem here and there … but its fun to built. I built it about 5 days (2 hours per day, after works) …
